Home / How we vet
How we vet creators and scripts.
The method behind every shortlist, written plainly. If a creator doesn't pass, they don't reach you.
Audience fit
Are the viewers developers, engineers and AI builders, or casual tech fans? We look at content history and who engages.
Real reach
Average views across the last ten videos, not subscriber count. Sponsors pay for views, so that's what we measure.
Comment quality
Viewers asking how a tool handles a real task is the signal brands pay for. Generic praise and bot patterns are a red flag.
Technical accuracy
Every script is checked against your docs before recording. Overclaims are rewritten, not just flagged.
1. Audience fit
We review a creator's last few months of content and who engages with it. We're looking for developers, engineers and AI builders who would plausibly use your product, not just people interested in tech news.
- Topics covered and how technical they go
- Who comments: job titles, questions, setups they mention
- Previous sponsors, and whether they fit a technical audience
2. Real reach
We use average views across the last ten videos, not subscriber count. Subscriber numbers grow for years and rarely shrink; views show who is actually watching today.
- Average and median views on recent uploads
- Consistency: steady performance versus one viral outlier
- Views on previous sponsored videos, where visible
3. Comment quality
The comment section is free customer research. Viewers asking how a tool handles a real task, comparing alternatives or sharing their own stack is the signal brands pay for.
- Share of comments that ask or answer technical questions
- How the creator responds
- Red flags: generic praise, repeated phrases, sudden spikes
4. Technical accuracy
Before anything is recorded, we check the brief and script against your product documentation. Claims that overreach are rewritten into claims your product can back up, and we agree them with you first.
- Every product claim checked against your docs
- Benchmarks and comparisons verified or removed
- A final review of the draft video or post before it goes live
Who does the review
Every review is done by Fidaroe's founder, an AI/ML researcher at the University of Oulu and former Nokia engineer. Read more about Afeez.
